While in rehab, he finds a power far beyond that of any rehab program, he falls in love with Rosanna Angellini - a girl from the neighborhood who visits him frequently. In the midst of it all, Johnny begins rehearsals with a group of old musician buddies, laying the foundation for one of the best rock bands of their time.
